The Powerful Prescription of Plants: A Pharmacist’s Guide to Whole Food Plant-Based Nutrition

As a doctor of Pharmacy for 30 years, I’ve spent years studying medications-how they work, how they interact, and how they manage diseases.

One truth I’ve come to appreciate more than ever is that no drug can compete with the power of whole food, plant-based nutrition when it comes to disease prevention and long-term health.

Diets rich in vegetables, fruits, whole grains, nuts and seeds, provide the body with fiber, antioxidants and phytonutrients that lower inflammation, support healthy blood pressure, improve cholesterol, regulate blood sugar, improve energy level and longevity, lower cancer risk, boost gut health and improve kidney function, without the side effects of pharmaceuticals.

As a Pharmacist, I have always been advocating for evidence-based and science-backed treatments. That’s why I don’t just recommend whole food plant-based diet, I advocate for it, as a healthcare professional.

At Ethical Life, we believe that optimal health isn’t just possible, it’s your right.

Let’s get started on this journey together, shall we?
